DID YOU KNOW….?
I was born and raised in the north of the UK to European parents, married an Indian, and promptly emigrated to the Middle East!
Obviously.
3 kids, one puppy, 3 EP’s, 5 books and 13 years later, we felt it was time for us to move our family back to the UK for a season of being closer to family who we missed dearly and longed to do more of daily life with.
Willow and Rest operates on the ground in both the Middle East and the South of the UK, in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and occasionally beyond. We have worked hard to build our teams, so that our services on the ground in both places are seamless, personal, and high end.
Willow and Rest was founded in a moment of desperation, having lost my world of music, performing, writing and speaking due to the pandemic, but I didn’t realise how much of a creative release it was going to give me! I quickly found through working with architects, other designers and contractors, that I loved creating environments. Not just picking pretty paints and rugs, but pulling full schemes and building plans together, which actually impacted the quality of life of the client, and of course - in my own home.
I’m super passionate about creating the life we want, prioritising rest, and slow living.
After years of running at a million miles an hour, and hitting complete burnout, I realised just how important it was to be intentional about resting, facilitating rest, and slowing the heck down!
If you’re hanging out here - get ready for a ton of tips to help you slow down, get more productive, but find rest not just for your body, but for your soul.
